Just to give you an idea on the considerations bathroom remodels require:

• Some homes were constructed with drains and plumbing under the concrete slab. To relocate pluming is quite a labor intensive task.
• If old cast iron pipes were used when the home was built, they should be replaced to avoid rust and decay that can cause serious issues and endanger the foundation of your home.
• Licensed plumbers are required to install new shower pans if they are necessary. However, shower pans are not necessary if your existing shower is recessed into the floor.
